Surabaya – Advisor to the Prabowo – Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Mochamad Iriawan, or familiarly known as Iwan Bule, attended the declaration of support from the Paguyuban Purnawirawan POLRI (PP POLRI) at the Mercure Grand Mirama Hotel, Surabaya, East Java, on Monday (8/1/2024).
The declaration of support for Prabowo – Gibran was made by around 700 members of PP POLRI from East Java, consisting of PP POLRI Surabaya, Malang, Jember, Kediri, Madiun, and Madura.
Not only declaring their support, the representatives of PP POLRI from all over East Java also signed the declaration document as a form of their commitment to support Mr. Prabowo – Gibran as President and Vice President starting in 2024, in which Iwan Bule also signed.
“Thank you to my friends who are also retired POLRI members for the support for Mr. Prabowo and Gibran. Of course, this is a pride for us because when I met Mr. Prabowo last night, he was touched by the support given by the PP POLRI friends,” Iwan Bule told the media.
The declaration document of PP POLRI East Java stated a commitment to support the presidential and vice-presidential candidate pair of Prabowo – Gibran in the 2024 elections. They also declared their loyalty to the presidential and vice-presidential candidate pair of Prabowo – Gibran and stated that they will not be influenced by invitations from other candidate pairs. They are also ready to safeguard and ensure the victory of the presidential and vice-presidential candidate pair of Prabowo – Gibran in the East Java region.
“This is a big encouragement to overcome the stigma below, because there are many retired members, especially from the police and the military, and this will be a pioneer. God willing, I believe that other regions will do the same, because all elements understand that we must truly choose leaders who are sincerely for the people and have an extraordinary vision and mission that will bring prosperity to Indonesia,” he added.
After the declaration in his political speech, Iwan Bule emphasized that when Prabowo becomes the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, the POLRI institution will still be under the President. “It is clear that the POLRI will still be directly under the President, even last night during the presidential debate Mr. Prabowo emphasized that, so my friends don’t need to worry about the issue that mentions that it will no longer be under the President,” said Iwan Bule.
In addition, Iwan Bule explained concrete matters related to the Prabowo – Gibran candidate pair, their vision and mission which in the future will ensure the welfare of the people, the economy, and also industrialization. (SENOPATI)
